Hi There, it’s been too long since I’ve added anything to our blog, but I was thinking about the amazingness of the Nervous System this morning and felt compelled to add this chart to our blog ‘downloadables’. Check it out. Read through it, and as always, if you have any questions at all about it, please don’t hesitate to call/email/come in/smoke signal and ask us, we love questions about this stuff!
We have some exciting news coming up in the next couple weeks, but I can’t spoil the surprise yet, you will have to check back in find out….(my marketing friend would be proud… ending the blog on a cliffhanger! ha!)

BE EXTRAORDINARY.
June 15th, 2010Hi everyone, thanks for checking in. Today’s post is really not specifically about chiropractic, but rather about what we’ve been doing recently and what makes us smile. I was away this weekend at a seminar for personal growth and personal motivation…i know, i know, sometimes that sounds very cliche or corny, but i had a lot of ‘take home’ points, some of which i would love to share with you today. The seminar was put on by Robin Sharma (http://www.robinsharma.com), and was called “Awakening Best Self” weekend. The driving theme of the weekend was leadership and living your life to the fullest. Easy to say, harder to actually do. We, as a society, have grown accustomed to living our lives in mediocrity, not a life of mastery. If we were to all focus on a few things and refine our art in those few areas, instead of doing many many things at an average level, our lives would be profoundly different. What if we focused on being the absolute best dad we could be? What you became the absolute best taxi driver / custodian / accountant / internet marketer / friend / parent / sister / brother / father / mother you could be? Really lived in the moment, and gave it your all…wouldn’t this world be a better place? One exercise we did at the seminar was to write out what we want to be known for after our physical body dies, essentially writing our eulogy. Powerful stuff. It’s amazing how you don’t care about the new car, the house, the bills, the payments, the paycheck or any other material things…mine was all about leaving a legacy for my children, creating ‘world class’ experiences for my kids and family, knowing that i passed on values of love, trust of natural processes, integrity, compassion, optimism and gratitude. It’s a great exercise, try it with your partner, family member or children – find out what you want to be known for when you are no longer here.
Become a master of your art, be the best the world has ever seen, bring joy to those around you and watch your life experience explode! Here is a short video that someone sent to our inbox, something to make you smile – sure did make us smile! Enjoy, and make it a fantastic, superbly awesome day!
